Before a project begins

Client Agreement Overview

This overview helps potential clients understand the process. A personalized agreement with the client’s name, project details, dates, and exact deliverables will be prepared before payment.

1. Project scope

The agreement will list every included page, section, feature, design service, and domain task so both sides understand what is being created.

2. Payment schedule

For the $499 starter website, a $249.50 deposit is required before work begins. The remaining $249.50 balance is due after final approval and before the finished website is published.

3. Domain purchase and ownership

The custom domain is purchased separately by the client and is not included in the $499 package. The client will register and renew the domain in their own name so they retain ownership and control. Chane Digital Studio will provide purchasing guidance and connect the domain to the completed website.

4. Communication

Clients agree to provide content and feedback in a timely manner. Chane Digital Studio will communicate project progress and clarify important choices.

5. Revisions

Two revision rounds are included. Feedback should be combined into clear lists whenever possible.

6. Ownership

After final payment, the client may use the approved website and custom brand assets created for the project. Chane Digital Studio may display completed work in its portfolio unless the written agreement says otherwise.

7. Approval

Both the client and Chane Digital Studio will approve the personalized agreement before the deposit is paid and work begins.
